Mats Weaving Programme to Relieve the Poor Rural Teen-Age girls from Bonded Labourism and for their Survival

Description:
GHEC helped 30 very poor girl’s survival through the provision of Income Generation scheme (mats weaving and selling) for their livelihood and sustainability,
A skill up gradation training programme in mat weaving skill organised for a period of 15 days for these 30 target group teen-age girls. The training focused on modern innovative strategies, which will be more attractive, comfortable, productive, impressive and profitable. The target teen-age girls beneficiaries are now able to improve their individual latent talents and mat weaving skill. After training programme we have provided the required raw materials and tools to all our 30 target group teen-age girls. Then they have startd production of Mats and earning upto Rs.6000 per month which is sufficient for their livelihood.
