The aim of the programme
is to provide the 30 target teen-agers of 15 to 18 years age Vocational
Training course i.e., CARPENTRY SKILL for their future opportunities of
Self-employment and self-development. 30 target teen-agers divided

afternoon sessions. The required tools and material like
tools/machinery/Equipments and other materials purchased for the
use in the training programme. The target group young teen-agers
were learned the Carpentry

During evenings, after
training phase, we conducted Education classes to these 30
target young teen-agers. A Volunteer from our organization who is
trained of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,)/Teacher Training course
(T.T.C.) and with three years of experience in the same teaching field
is voluntarily extended his services in this education classes and
taught the education to these target young teen-agers.
After completing the
Carpentry Training, the teenagers are now able to do the Carpentry work
independently.
Among
the 30 teenagers, some can get contract works/job works from the
building construction owners and do the wooden works and earn good
income. Kadapa District is a developing area with flourishing of
population. As same the construction is increasing so there is good
demand for the Carpenters and there is no problem to get job
works/contract works for our teenagers.
Now these target group teen agers were become self-sufficient. |
