Name of the Program:   BROOMS MAKING PROGRAMME FOR SELF-SUFFICIENCY OF INDIGENOUS TRIBAL TEEN-AGE GIRLS

Implementation:

30 Tribal teen-age girls were formed as 3 Self Help Groups @ 10 teen-age girls in each group. Our organization provided @ Rs.4000 to each girl to purchase raw broom sticks, ropes, threads, knives, Gloves, sickles, cutters etc.,. With the raw materials they are now undertaking brooms making occupation and selling them in several parts of the District. Each girl is now earning @ Rs.5000 per month as her net income. They now become self-sufficient and self-confident.
