GHEC
conducted both Literacy and
Awareness camps simultaneously in the target 4 villages of Chitvel Block
for social change and literacy improvement.
GHEC formed Women
Groups in the said target 4 villages and train them about the Peace,
Justice, Rights, Development, Health and Environmental aspects. Small
amounts of supporting grant supplied to the women Groups to take up
Income Generation activities like Vegetable selling, Baskets making &
selling, Petty provision shops, garments selling, Brooms selling,
etc….Savings and Credit Unions also formed in target location with the
steady income of the target group which
help them to have certain women’s reserve fund for their
emergency needs.
GHEC
conducted Health check up camps in said 4 target villages to the poorer
women patients by the qualified doctors and medical team. We distributed
free Medicine to the poorer patients as per the doctor’s prescriptions.
We conducted clean Drive camps in the environments.
We created awareness on Primary Health care as women’s health,
community hygiene and Environmental sanitation.
