'Clean Drinking Water is a basic necessity of life. Supply of clean drinking water in the rural areas has always been one of the highest priorities of people. Lack of water and unclean water leads to several diseases that affect children, women and aged specially. During the survey the team of GHEC identified several problems facing by the people particularly the women and children. In summer season, the rural women have to walk for long distance to fetch water to bring water from open wells. With a view to solve the drinking water problem GHEC implemented the above mentioned project in the years 2017 in 10 villages. And we have installed 10 new drinking water bores in 10 villages of Kadapa District. About 6640 people were benefited through this project by getting safe drinking water from our hand pump bores.
